Abdoulaye DIAGNE is Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar and Director of the Consortium for Economic and Social Research (CRES). His research focuses on monetary issues, macroeconomics, education, poverty, agriculture and social protection. He coordinated the impact assessment work of public policies conducted at CRES. He has also been very supportive of public policy development in Senegal and ECOWAS. He was awarded in 2013 by ADEA for his work in education and in 2014 by WHO for tobacco control.
