Dipanwita Ghosh joined the Gender and Social Transformation Cluster at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University as a Research Associate in February, 2020. She started her career at Independent University, Bangladesh as a Research Assistant in 2017 while she was an undergraduate student. Before joining BIGD she also worked as a Research Associate at one of the research projects of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), Tokyo, Japan. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a minor in Anthropology. Her aspiration for continuous growth and self development, blended with her passion for the Social Sciences has led her to pursue Master of Social Sciences in Development Studies at Independent University, Bangladesh. Though her expertise lies in Qualitative research, she also aims to broaden her scope of research by mastering mixed method research. Dipanwita is keenly interested in health, consumerism, women empowerment, and poverty reduction.
