François Joseph Cabral is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FASEG) / UCAD and Director of the Doctoral School of Legal, Political, Economic and Management Sciences (EDJPEG / UCAD). He acts as Scientific Coordinator of the Consortium for Economic and Social Research (CRES). He is Associate Professor at the University of Thiès and Associate Researcher at the Research Group in Economics and International Development of the University of Sherbrooke (GREDI). He is also a member of the African growth and development policy (AGRODEP) modelers consortium, the African economic research consortium (AERC) and the Economic and Poverty Policy Network (PEP). His areas of research are growth, agriculture, climate change, the labor market, trade liberalization, poverty and computable general equilibrium modeling.
