Gabriell studied International Relations at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and currently holds a Master's Degree in Development from the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. He worked in a consultancy for GIZ on the necessary reforms for the State of Guatemala. He has experience as a Researcher in the Department of Sociopolitical Investigations of ASIES. He currently works as an Accountability Specialist in Counterpart International's Civic Participation project in Guatemala.
