Jyotsna specialises in policy research on budgetary priorities for low carbon development strategies in India, focusing specifically on renewable energy. She contributes significantly to the organisation's research and advocacy efforts on these issues. Currently, she is leading CBGA’s research on fiscal policy from the lens of climate change and environment related issues. She has earlier worked on various projects related to environment management and climate change both with the government and the corporate sector. Jyotsna has a Ph.D in Environmental Science under the Defence Research and Development Organization fellowship, and a Master’s degree in Environment Management.
