Padmavati Kulkarni

Dr Padmavati Kulkarni is a Research Scientist in the Air Pollution team at CSTEP. She completed her PhD in Physics from National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL)-ISRO and post-doctoral fellow from Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM). She completed her Bachelor's and Master's in Physics from Karnataka University Dharwad. Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as Project Scientist at Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC), Bengaluru, and as Assistant Professor at CMR Engineering College, Bengaluru. Her areas of interest include atmospheric aerosols, air quality, clouds, satellite remote sensing, and light detection and ranging (LIDAR).
