Ruchi holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Media (Journalism) from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai University and an M.Sc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Ruchi worked as a Research Associate at the Accountability Initiative. Her work was centered around themes of decentralization, social sector expenditure and policy, with a focus on education. She had previously worked as a Program Coordinator at Design for Change with the Riverside School, Ahmedabad.
