Saklain joined BIGD in July, 2019 as a Research Associate under Gender and Social Transformation Cluster. He has worked with various national and international development organizations like BRAC, Plan International, Overseas Development Institute etc. before joining here. He has a Master’s in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University. He has worked on many research projects on gender and adolescents, labour market and urban development.
