Sayada Jannatun Naim joined BIGD as a Senior Officer – Training and Communication in August 2016. Currently she is working as an Assistant Director of Executive Development Centre (EDC) of BIGD, BRAC University. She is responsible for management of the academic and financial issues of EDC, especially for coordinating the internship program of PGD-KIM, handling communications for the EDC, preparing progress reports, graduate tracking and overseeing all procurement aspects and financial management system of the project. She is also a coordinator of Academy of Work (AoW) training program. In the past at BIGD, she was a coordinator of Executive Development Program (EDP), Academy of Work (AoW) and worked on TNA, curriculum development and business plan. She also coordinated with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)-UK, Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU), IME Division of Planning Division, GoB and the World Bank Group.
Before joining BIGD, she worked at Siddeshwary Girls’ College as a faculty. She had extensive five years of teaching experience in several academic institutes. Additionally she has more than three years of experience in business area at Protishabda Communication. She also worked closely with Autistic children as a behavioural analyst in Bangladesh ABA Centre at the initial stage of her career.
Jannatun is a keen and self-motivated researcher. She has skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her research interests center around social development, health policy and international business. She has been working as a Research Associate with a Senior Professor of International Business of University of Dhaka since February 2017. She has published four papers in international journals on entrepreneurship, governance, and agriculture supply chain and health policy.
Jannatun Naim graduated with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Child Development and Social Relation from Home Economics College under University of Dhaka. She obtained MBA in International Business from the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
