Sidy Tounkara has a Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Toulouse -Jean Jaurès and is interested in issues related to agriculture and the environment. He is the author of several publications, the latest of which is The Multifunctionality of "Peri-Urban" Agriculture in Senegal. He is currently working at IPAR as part of an urban sanitation project in Dakar.
