About José Andrés Oliva Cepeda

Bachelor in Economics (2003) and Master of Arts in Finance (2007), Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas. His main research is in public finance and labor economics. He has participated in continuous econometric analysis of fiscal policy in El Salvador, published in several documents and analysis. He also participated in a large project about impact of changes on minimum wages on labor markets in Central America, using large data sets from household surveys and panel data, coauthoring the paper in El Salvador. He also worked with Fusades on a consultancy with ECLAC using household surveys and infrastructure data to evaluate the social impact of investment in infrastructure using propensity score matchingtechniques. Since 2012, he has conducted research and implemented Commitment of Equity methodologies in El Salvador.
