Membership

Is your organisation interested in becoming a Southern Voice network member?

Southern Voice members are think tanks embedded in the social, research, and policy scenes of countries across the Global South. They have the analytical skills and organisational capacity to use knowledge and evidence to inform local and national policies. They usually have a wide range of thematic interests focused on development, and use a variety of research methods in their work. They work closely with actors from the private or public sector to maximise the use of research and knowledge for national or regional policymaking.

Benefits of being a member

  • Participate in and speak at events co-organized by Southern Voice on global policy debates.
  • Get funding for travel to conferences and summits.
  • Stay up to date with the debates on the 2030 Agenda, share your latest news and publications with other members and global audiences through Southern Voice digital channels.

  • The membership subcommittee of the Southern Voice Steering Committee reviews all applications before recommending a decision to the Steering committee.
