What we do

We are a network of think tanks that informs global policy debates and decision-making on sustainable development issues. With 70 network members, we produce evidence-based research from Global South countries and turn it into action. By joining forces, we contribute to a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous Global South.

We convene

We facilitate the exchange of ideas, research, and policy recommendations among think tanks in the Global South and with decision-makers of Global North countries and United Nations bodies.

We research

We support comparative research projects on key priorities with global impact led by our member think tanks.

We inform

We leverage the research from our network and work with strategic partners to maximize its impact within global and multilateral organisations.

Examples of our work:

“State of the SDGs” is our biennial flagship initiative that researches the condition of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Global South. The second edition of the initiative addresses the complex state of inequalities at the country, regional, and global levels.

Young researchers have a vital role in policy making. We foster their ideas, proposals and findings. We also create networking collaboration opportunities for them.

This initiative looks at the impact of the rapid digitalization and adoption of new technologies on different dimensions of life. It aims to inform global debates and ensures technologies serve sustainable development in public services, in particular for women.
