On the occasion of our COVID-19 Digital Knowledge Hub official launch, we are partnering with the United Nations Foundation (UNF) and the Think Tank Hub for a virtual event focused on COVID-19 responses and recovery in the Global South. You can register here

Following a presentation of the Knowledge Hub, our panellists will analyse their country and region’s unique challenges, as well as the responses and future perspectives of recovery. 

Moderator Thure Krarup, Executive Director for Sustainable Development Initiatives (UNF), will guide the conversation with questions such as: 

  • What is the scale and severity of the COVID-19 crisis in the Global South? How is it affecting the progress on the 2030 Agenda? 
  • What were the critical response areas for countries in the Global South? What lessons can be learned from concrete national experiences? 
  • Looking forward, what are the key ingredients for recovery?
