Southern Voice is proud to co-organise the EGAP Latin America Regional Meeting 2026 in Mexico City, alongside the Graduate School of Government and Public Transformation at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Taking place from 1–3 October 2026, the meeting will explore autocratic resilience, clientelism and migration, with a focus on democratic backsliding, institutional resilience and their implications across Latin America.
The meeting will bring together leading academics, policymakers and donors to strengthen connections between rigorous research and public policy. As part of the meeting, Southern Voice will co-host an optional policy event on 1 October, featuring high-level discussions on autocratic resilience and migration, followed by academic sessions on 2–3 October.
