About Erica Nelson

Erica Nelson, PhD, works on initiatives that seek to challenge unequal dynamics of power in research for development and global health. She is originally trained as a historian and anthropologist, but uses a range of participatory and otherwise non-traditional approaches to ensure that diverse voices and perspectives are included in research processes. She is currently working with Southern Voice on the IDRC-funded “equitable partnerships” project.
