About Florencia Ripani

Maria Florencia Ripani is the Director of Ceibal Foundation (Fundación Ceibal). She was previously the National Director of Innovation, at the Ministry of Education in Argentina. She also worked for the BBC WS New Media, in London, where she led large-scale digital projects with global impact. She is interested in initiatives combining emerging communication formats and participatory and innovative approaches in the use of digital technology to promote quality and inclusive education. She is a member (external expert) of the Advisory Board of UNESCO's Global Education Monitoring (GEM) and also integrates the Broadband Commission Working Group on Data for Learning, coordinated by UNESCO.
