About Marcelo Cardona

Marcelo Cardona is a Research Assistant at the Rockwool Foundation Research unit and a Research Associate at INESAD. Prior, he was a research consultant at the United Nations University-World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), a teaching assistant at the Copenhagen Business School, and a research assistant at the economics department at the University of Copenhagen. He obtained his MSc in Economics at the University of Copenhagen. Marcelo’s research is focused on social mobility, human capital, the economics of education, and applied microeconometrics. In particular, he has worked on intergenerational mobility, and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
