Southern Voice, the United Nations Development Programme, and CIPPEC have the pleasure to invite to a panel discussion on assessing the effectiveness of South-South Cooperation (SSC) at the country level.

This session will focus on unpacking the perspectives, experiences and priorities of recipient countries, particularly least developed countries (LDCs), engaged in SSC initiatives. While SSC is based on principles of horizontality and mutual benefit, perspectives from smaller SSC partners have received less attention in the debates and frameworks to monitor development effectiveness of SSC. These views, however, are critical for improving development impact, strengthening the quality of cooperation, achieving the SDGs at the national level, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
