Southern Voice Presents the Young Think Tankers Pitching Contest

Southern Voice, is organising its first Young Think Tankers Pitching Contest, in partnership with On Think Tanks. The objective of the event is to promote collaboration among young think tankers from the Global South.
After a review of nearly 300 applications, ten young think tankers have been selected as finalists for the Young Think Tankers Pitching Contest. Get to know each shortlisted participant here and find out about their journeys as young think tankers here.
A feedback session was organised in July which provided useful guidance on improving their proposals. The finale will be a live online session where the participants will have the opportunity to defend their pitches in a Q&A round before an esteemed panel of judges.
Three winners will be selected to take part at Southern Voice’s landmark conference in Nairobi, Kenya, this October. All expenses will be covered by Southern Voice.
The pitching contest will take place on 5 September 2023, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm (UTC).
