Southern Voice was part of the sixth T20 Task Force (TF06), which focuses on fostering robust international cooperation in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the 2030 Agenda.  Its purpose is to shape priority-setting within Development Working Groups alongside health and trade/investment sectors while highlighting key matters for Sherpa consideration, including evaluation of G20 commitments and their implementation.

Southern Voice contributed to section 6.5 of the Task force statement, “The role of non-State actors, NGOs, and subnational units in multilateral governance”. Acknowledging the significance of non-state actors, NGOs, and subnational units, the task force explores their roles and contributions in shaping effective multilateral governance, and the need to grant them proper representation and voice in international institutions (SDG 17).
