The global population is projected to reach 10.3 billion by 2100, with 80% in Africa and Asia. This shift offers economic potential but also risks deepening poverty and unemployment. The PEOPLE Action Group highlighted that nations’ strength depends on investing in youth, education, and healthcare to harness demographic dividends.
Inclusive prosperity is a key pillar of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which emphasizes the importance of ensuring that no one is left behind. As a member of the Action Group on Inclusive Prosperity of the Unlock the Future Engine Room, I regularly participate in discussions about existing and future challenges with young colleagues from various parts of the world.
