About Carolina Robino

Carolina Robino is a Senior Program Specialist at Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), where she is part of the Sustainable and Inclusive Economies team. She has more than 20 years of experience in managing policy oriented research. Carolina’s current work focuses on action research to inform care policies and systems for a just transition in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has a PhD in Development Studies from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa, and a Master in Social and Political Studies for Latin America from the Universidad Alberto Hurtado in Chile. She has an Economist Degree from the Universidad de la Republica in Uruguay.
