About Zamiyat Abubakar

Zamiyat Abubakar is Southern Voice's Engagement Officer. Zamiyat has experience researching and executing online movements and campaigns, with focus on feminism and countering violent extremism. She has previously worked as an intern on international development projects targeting education, violent extremism, and women empowerment in Northern Nigeria. Zamiyat holds a Master in Social Science of the Internet from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor in Communications from the American University of Nigeria.
