As we hit the ten-year mark of Southern Voice as an organization, it is an excellent time to reflect on how this organisation has grown, not only in size.
We invite our readers to access and explore the transformation map for free.
This year’s theme, ‘Innovation and Technological Change‘ was timely. It is closely linked to one of Southern Voice’s on-going priorities to ensure that digitalization does not leave women and girls behind.
As 2022 comes to a close, we take this opportunity to reflect on the extensive work we did this year to further southern perspectives.
Young scholars presented their research on sustainable agriculture, environmental justice, youth unemployment and shaping the future in the Global South.
Lack of trust has helped fuel the COVID-19 pandemic, further exposing the erosion of citizens’ confidence in government and the multilateral system.
The conference will harness the collective knowledge of our vast network of Southern scholars, charting a path towards a post-COVID-19 recovery.
Even with "zoom fatigue", there are advantages to the virtual format that speak in favour of keeping it after the pandemic.
As of September 2021, we welcome nine new think tanks from across the Global South.
